Co-sponsored by: Karen Freedland Irwin and Fran Martin Candis Stern
Ann Arbor will be killing up to 100 deer in parks and public places this winter, and many residents are concerned. In addition to questioning whether there's a need to reduce the population in our city, people are worried about how everyone's safety will be ensured, and what hiring sharpshooters means for Ann Arbor's future with wildlife.
We'll be screening an award-winning film featuring former employees who were hired to kill wildlife, followed by a discussion with the director.
